About the Librarian

Dear Cole Canyon Coyotes and Families,

My name is Jeanette Haddow, and I am honored to introduce myself as your new librarian. While Ms. Ridley leaves behind a legacy that can never be replaced, I am excited to carry the torch forward and build new, lasting memories with you and your children.

I am deeply committed to making this transition as smooth as possible and look forward to collaborating with our district, school administration, teachers, staff, and PTC to continue fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and inspiring library space.

A little about me: I was born and raised in Arcadia, California. I’m married to my incredible husband, Chris, and together we have four amazing children and two beautiful grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, puzzles, singing, and playing video games.

For over 30 years, I’ve worked as a Library/Technology Specialist in both public schools and city libraries across the San Gabriel Valley. I've had the privilege of serving students from infancy through young adulthood, always striving to create welcoming environments where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. I truly believe the library is the heart and soul of a school, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Cole Canyon community.

My passion for books and literature runs deep, and I can't wait to share that enthusiasm with your children. I’m especially looking forward to Back-to-School Night and hope to meet many of you there—please feel free to stop by and say hello!
